Julian Botti

Born in Munich in 1995, Julian Botti graduated in 2018 in Interior Architecture at the Faculty of Interior Design, Architecture and Design (IAD) of the Technical University of Rosenheim. In 2017, he is assigned as Tutor at the same University for a digital fabrication course by Professor Kilian Stauss. This was followed by internship experiences in Milan at Denis Santachiara and in Munich at the architecture studio BottiZanafredi. In the following two years he works as a freelancer at Aevum Design, Occhio, Dauphin, Gerg Lighthouse while founding the design studio mela.space, designing a bayonet connector for modular lighting objects, patent pending, and various objects in collaboration with the designers Ludwig Eder and Antonia Hindegger. From 2020 to 2021 he is employed as an interior architect at Henn GmbH in Munich and works on projects for Apple, TUM and IHM.

Since the beginning of 2022 he has been working together with Gilberto Botti on the foundation of spazioarte munich, a design-focused showroom featuring his own products and those of selected artists and designers, with an adjoining space for art exhibitions, cultural events and workshops.
